This project presented architectural challenges in transitioning the post wraps to the drywall wrapped beam over the island. We came up with a solution that the client loved, and compliments the design. In addition, the countertop edges were cut to accent the columns on the island. 1100lbs and 8 men later, the island countertop was engineered and placed around 3 sides of each right and left post. Pretty amazing job by Rocky Mountain Granite in Medford, OR.
